Bayreuth's best beer garden! We were there recently and had a really lovely stay! The young lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and accommodating. After a short briefing about the Corona-related order process, we were allowed to look for a nice place. Regarding the order process, I can only say that all routes are clearly and clearly marked (unfortunately we noticed that some guests do not adhere to them, but they are immediately informed in a friendly manner by the staff!). Unfortunately we forgot our table number at the beginning, the young man at the cash desk kindly helped us. As always, the beer was freshly tapped and tasted really good. The prices have been increased slightly compared to the previous year, but are quite cheap for the conditions in our opinion! Price-performance is more than top! Our food was served after a short waiting time and, as always, tasted excellent. The salad was fresh, the schnitzel was nicely fried and there were also crispy fries and the burgers were awesome! We really liked the idea of ​​the pretzel roll! Although the burgers were a bit more demanding to eat, there was nothing to complain about and we got enough napkins on request! When it comes to food, the price-performance ratio is fantastic! We were particularly surprised by the new playground, which looks really great! The Herzogkeller is particularly recommended for families with children! All in all it was a wonderful stay! We were full and had a very nice evening! Keep up the good work and we'll definitely be back soon!

Organizationally, a lot is not going well here. Long queues at the cash register and at the bar, everything takes too long. Everything was much better organized before (Corona is no excuse for bad organization). Another beer garden is on the program next time.

The kid's schnitzel is a total joke. The lemon was almost as big. Ingredients: flavor enhancer, sweetener and ground meat. With normal schnitzel you can also do without these ingredients. The waitresses were friendly. It took 20 minutes until we got more bread that we ordered ... The rest of the dishes were okay.

Relaxed atmosphere, even though staff and guests strictly observe Corona hygiene rules. Reserving is currently recommended - but works smoothly. Price / performance ratio is very good and staff nice and helpful.

Great biergarten but difficult to find. Great for regulars but a tourist will need to forage. The foraging will pay dividends. Maisels beer freely available - but there are others. Take the trek n enjoy it!

Proper beer garden with great beer and atmosphere. The winding way up to the garden is particularly pretty. Got to watch Germany play here and it was just so lovely and raucous.

Very nice traditional Bavarian bier garden with a great atmosphere. The bratwurst with bread and mix deli platters are the way choice, with a nice bear pint or radler.
